Lecture on Procurement in the Welfare Sector (in Swedish)

Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM), in collaboration with Lund University Centre for Business Law (ACLU), hereby invites you to a seminar on Procurement in the Welfare Sector.
Could an official rating register help prevent corruption and deter unscrupulous companies? Is such a rating system legal, and at what stage of the procurement process could it be used: before the procurement begins, during the exclusion, qualification, or selection phases, or even after a contract has been awarded to a supplier?
About the Speakers
Sofia Lundberg
Professor of Economics at Umeå University, specializing in public procurement. Her focus areas include public procurement as a policy tool for environmental regulation, design, effects on quality, evaluation models, bidder behavior, supplier selection, competition effects, and cartel detection.
Catharina Piper
Attorney at Moll Wendén Law Firm, specializing in public procurement and related legal matters with over 20 years of experience. She has particular expertise in innovative and sustainable public procurement. Additionally, she has extensive experience in general business law from her time as Chief Legal Officer at the largest private healthcare and social services provider in the Nordic region.
Erik Odsell
Procurement Lawyer at Lund municipality. He has extensive experience in public procurement across various contracting authorities.
